Construction and agricultural machinery
Excavators, loaders, tractors and combines usually need their own licence and their own adapters, even when the scanner hardware is the same.
Material handling
Forklifts, telehandlers and lifting platforms are a separate segment again, with electric drivetrains a standard car scanner cannot read.
What a scanner will not do
It does not remove emission control systems and it does not increase engine power. It reads, tests and calibrates what the manufacturer exposes through diagnostics.
